Every watt your system draws passes through a wall outlet. In most homes, that outlet cost the builder about two dollars.

Builder-grade contacts are thin brass springs that loosen with use, and a heavy power cord pulls on them every hour it’s plugged in. You’ve asked us for a better outlet for years. Here it is.

• Rhodium-plated contacts. High purity copper underneath for conduction. Rhodium on the surface because it’s harder than silver and doesn’t tarnish.
• Stainless steel contact springs. A firm grip that lasts, so heavy cords stay put instead of sagging and slipping.
• Screw terminals to 8 AWG. Bare wire or spades, clamped under screw pressure. No push-in clips.
• Stainless steel back strap. Grounded, rigid, and heavy, so the receptacle flexes less under the load of a serious cord.

Most systems upgrade everything in the power path except the part it all plugs into. The Power Path takes the one connection nobody chose and makes it the one you don’t have to think about.
